The Machismos songs were originally written by Sam for Jacob's Mouse, who split in '95. He then recorded them on his own and formed a band to play live. This phase lasted a few years. Later, due to some renewed interest in the old recordings we reformed again 2014 to 2016, and put out some vinyl. The aim was always to experiment and break musical rules, but still write a catchy song.
